Remembering Haiti...

One year ago a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck the vulnerable land of Haiti. The destruction was immense and the lives that were lost were beyond counting. I sit here today praying for that country and the people who lost everything. I pray for a desperate world that is struck by poverty. I pray for the hungry and broken and lost and every street orphan that lost their parents in the earthquake. When I was in Haiti a week ago, I fell in love with the country and the people there. I feel that one day soon I will be back. Each night there in Haiti as I sat on the roof with my team overlooking the city, tears would fill my eyes because I saw a world that is broken and in need. I know that God sees His people. And I know He cares for them and today I remember Haiti...God show them your favor...
